Durga Pooja is just knocking on the door! As a Bengali, I am super excited about Durga Pooja 2024 pandal hopping as well as the whole process of it. Growing up we used to have Durga Pooja in our society and guess what we kids along with elders were responsible for all the decoration part. Unlike the pandals that you see nowadays where Durga Puja decoration are done by big decorators who charge huge money, we used to do it all ourselves.

1. Diya

Maa Durga is known as the Goddess of Power, and Durga Puja celebrates her victory over the demon Mahishasura. A Deepak or Diya is a simple decoration often used during this festival.
